The mainstay of learning Tajweed is to recite the Qur’ān to a qualified teacher on an ongoing basis (known in Islamic sciences as Iqrā’). While the CHILDRENS BEQUEST Seminar teaches the theory of Tajweed in a comprehensive way, that must be complemented by ongoing recitation to teachers, which is accomplished in our weekly sessions at the following locations:

1. Muslim Center of Middlesex County (MCMC): Sunday nights following Ishā prayer (currently at 8pm)

These sessions are informal and open to the public.
